Our show for the Long Beach Dragonboat Festival was a success! We hope some of you made it out to see it. The races were exciting and hard fought. We didn’t place but we showed great pluck and improved our times with each heat we participated in. We hope to improve further and show our determination at the Los Angeles Dragonboat Festival.

We are back at it again this season and will be performing for the Long Beach Dragonboat Festival. The opening ceremony begins at 10:30am, Saturday, July 30th. Come back on Sunday, July 31st to see the exciting conclusion to the Festival races.

We’re at it again this year! The Long Beach Dragonboat Festival is here again. At the end of the month, July 30th & 31st, we attempt to bring home some medals and have a great festival!

We’re still working on building up our team and getting set to perform the Opening Ceremony. Drop by and check us out if you can. We’ll be happy to meet you.

Busy with performance preparations, year end banquets, family functions… Chinese New Years can be a real hectic time for us.

We just got done with an eventful show in Chinatown, Los Angeles yesterday (2/22/2015) and we have some more shows lined up!

Starting this Sunday, June 8th, LA Jin Yin embarks on yet another summer full of competition and growth for this years Dragonboat Season. Starting first at Long Beach Dragonboat Festival late July and the Los Angeles Dragonboat Festival mid October.

Still getting requests for shows and working to polish our skills. We are working to improve ourselves. Some members have gone off to travel for spring break and are having a wonderful time. Travel is one of the best ways to expand your horizons and grow as a person. Here at LA Jin Yin, we encourage travel. Go forth and explore your world! Tell us about your experiences.

This is a new step forward for our group. We are working on making the site an awesome place to get information about our group and participate in our events.
